Yeah I guess our rescue work didnt mater at all. At the time the nazis just wanted our iron, and we didnt have any weapons in sweden at the time so its not like we could fight them even if we wanted to.

Japanese soldiers killed lots of Okinawans because of their racism. Okinawans were scared of Japanese more than Americans. It was one of the darkest points of Japanese history. I feel sad and ashamed of it.

Good stuff, Scott. I never liked history in school, but I always enjoy visiting places that have a lot of history. Its a weird feeling standing in the same spot that something so major in history happened.

I spent 3 weeks there last July with my Kanojo. Felt like we got to see most of the island in that time. But we missed the caves. Thanks for the upload. Interesting I couldn't take video of some parts in Shuri castle. Don't forget to Get some action of Habu sake and Okinawa sweets if you haven't already.

yea i guess in recent times okinawans have been trying to get the us military bases off the island? im not sure whats up with that now. but i can see why, they take up a good chunk of the good lands.
